Along with them, there is an increase in the cost of carbon allowances that every fossil fuel power plant needs to buy in order to continue its operation. This increases the cost of electricity produced by them. One way to reduce carbon dioxide emissions CO2 generated by power plants burning Bulgarian lignite is to implement a more efficient power generation cycle. References
