The load change is described as a stochastic process. It is shown that the problem of random load disturbance rejection can be formulated as an optimal controller design in sense of minimum mean-square error (Wiener filter design). Controller structure based on dynamic compensation as well as on direct design with rational transfer function by taking into account the plant non-minimal phase characteristics is obtained.
