Абстракт: In this paper are shown the opportunities to increase the exploitation life and the reliability for a class of turning machines with digital program control, taking into account the basic subsystems that build them. A block diagram has been developed and the requirements to the basic subsystems are formulated. The research held and the results obtained can be used in the development and modernization of such class of machine tools.
