Абстракт: This paper describes the coordination of drives in turning machines with digital program control. Based on specialized software a geometrical model of a processed workpiece was developed and the respective trajectory of the used tool was generated. The necessary code for the machine was formed and the developed program was entered into the turning machine for execution. An example illustrating the practical implementation of the offered algorithm is presented. Studies carried out and the results obtained can be used in setting up of the considered class of machine tools.
