(only in-person) This workshop will be around 3 hours long as it includes theoretical and practical part. The workshop will be accessible for any registered participant on-site. The workshop will be moderated and instructed by Dr. Petia Georgieva. It will commence with lectures on the topics: Machine Learning versus Deep Learning, Convolutional Neural Networks (building blocks), Model Performance evaluation (Confusion matrix; K-fold cross validation; Bias vs. Variance). The second part of the workshop will be practical as the participants will learn how to build a DenseNet Convolutonal Neural Network (CNN) classifier to discriminate between 14 different pathologies from chest X-ray images using functions from Keras framework. The following requirements apply for the practical part:
How to participate: 1. After registration, log into your account and choose the tab Accompanying events 2. Register for the event 3. The workshop will be accessible for any conference participant (paper author, guest or student) who has paid their conference fee. Note! If you have registered as an author, but your paper was not approved, you can still attend to the workshop as a guest after paying the guest fee: https://e-university.tu-sofia.bg/e-conf/index.php?r=625 Workshop on Theoretical Electrical Engineering
The Workshop on Theoretical Electrical Engineering will be moderated and instructed by Prof. Valeri Mladneov and is devoted to research and education in theory and applications of electromagnetic fields, electrical and electronic circuits, signal processing, and design and control of electromagnetic systems. Acknowledged researchers whose papers have been accepted by the ICARAI'23 editorial board will present their work on the following topics:
