Title: Estimation of the Light Pollution, Introduced by the Architectural Lighting of an Educational Building Keywords: light pollution, architectural lighting, wasted luminous flu Abstract: The paper aims the estimation of the electrical energy wasted for architectural lighting in different variations of the designed project realized with different light sources. The idea for localized lighting, highlighting the volume of the building of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Technical University of Sofia is made by means of LED strips and LED floodlights with concentrated light distribution. Besides the reduction of the light pollution in the project which uses only floodlights, also the number of the lighting elements is reduced and the artistic idea is kept to a great extent.
