Title: Structural and functional analysis of the LoRa protocol for telemetry information exchange in wireless sensor networks
Keywords: Internet of Things, LoRa, wireless communication, sensor net

Abstract: The rapid deployment of the Internet of Things (IoT) in various areas of household and industry is based on the construction of low-power wide-area wireless networks, taking into account the general requirements for them as automated control systems. Low-power networks allow to provide low-cost energy-efficient wireless communication for telemetry and control. One of the most important technologies in constructing such networks is the LoRa protocol, which consists of a physical layer protocol and a set of open base layer protocols. In this paper, a structural and functional analysis of approaches for implementing wireless sensor networks based on LoRa is performed, taking into account the specifics and logic of functioning at different layers in the exchange of telemetry information.
