Title: Creating an Environment for Software-Defined Network Simulations with Mininet and Open Network Operating System
Keywords: experimenting, Mininet, ONOS, simulation, software-defined network

Abstract: Open Network Operating System - ONOS is a powerful tool for managing SDN networks with a convenient graphical interface and Mininet provides a flexible platform for emulation of network topologies. Modern SDN networks provide flexible and effective approaches for building secure and scalable networks. Using ONOS and Mininet allows simulating SDN networks without the need for expensive hardware. The purpose of this work is to discuss the technologies used and the installation process of Mininet and ONOS, as well as the possibilities for creating and experimenting with virtual networks.
