Title: A Study of the Control Strategy on the Current Source Converter Operation for Fuel Cell Applications

Abstract: This paper explores the application of modified sinusoidal pulse-width modulation in the control of a current source converter intended for use in systems powered by hydrogen fuel cells. A computer model has been developed using the PLECS simulation environment, through which the processes in the converter under the proposed control strategy are simulated and analyzed. The influence of the amplitude modulation ratio on the converter's input and output currents has been investigated. Under varying operating scenarios, the converter's control characteristics were documented, and a harmonic analysis of the output current was conducted.
