Title: Analytical study of crown fire in Bulgarian forests Keywords: Abstract: This paper focuses on an analytical approach to studying the progression of crown fires, with a specific emphasis on velocity and temperature distribution. The impact of environmental factors on fire development is investigated. Numerical studies have been performed under different initial conditions and fire heights and the distance at which the peak fires reach. The results obtained can be used to assist the services involved in fighting forest fires.
