Title: Control of Single-Axis Servo Motor Drive with PLC Controller

Abstract: This paper presents the design, implementation, and experimental analysis of a single-axis servo drive system controlled by a Mitsubishi PLC. The system comprises a Mitsubishi MR-J4 servo amplifier, an HG-KR13 servo motor, and an FX5UC-32MT/DSS-TS PLC, integrated with a GOT2505 human-machine interface (HMI). The study focuses on position control using closed-loop feedback from an absolute encoder. Experimental results demonstrate the system's precision in achieving angular displacements of 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, 225°, and 270° with minimal steady-state error. The servo system's performance is evaluated in terms of torque, speed, and positioning accuracy, with data visualization provided by MR Configurator2 software. The findings confirm the effectiveness of PLC-based servo control in industrial automation applications.
