Title: A Case Study of Decreasing Dust Pollution in Steel Melt Shop by Virtual Prototyping Developed Approach
Keywords: CFD, Design Improvement, Particles Tracking, Simulation, Steelmaking, Thermal, Virtual Prototyping

Abstract: This study presents the approbation of an already developed approach for simulation by virtual prototype of dust pollution in steel melt shop. It is based on real case simulation that is used to assess existing melt shop air dust pollution. Results analysis is a basis for design modifications recommendations and design variants development. The effectiveness of various design changes is assessed through simulations over built virtual prototype. Final design solution is evaluated and an improved performance is obtained in means of the decrease of dust pollution. Possible representation of other processes is discussed where different configurations of geometry are needed to be presented.
