Title: Multi-criteria analysis approaches for energy system development scenario — review
Keywords: scenario, energy system development, multi-criteria analysis

Abstract: This article provides an overview of possible multi-criteria analysis approaches for evaluation of energy development scenarios. The studied material is mainly intended as discussion on the MCA methods’ importance, classification, types and main steps which a basic multi-criteria decision problem procedure typically includes. Based on an extensive literature review, we show that long-term energy planning and multi-criteria decision-making are enriched by highlighting relevant alternatives, reflecting external uncertainties and applying different evaluation criteria.
