Abstract: The article discusses the possibilities for electrical spark deposition of hardalloyed coatings on a pre-layered surface of technical titanium and titanium alloy TiAl6V4. The coatings were investigated in terms of their mechanical properties and the obtained erosion / deposition yield effect in ESD with positive and reverse polarity on pre-applied thin layers. Descaling, galvanic activation and electroless nickel plating were used for substrate pre-layering, and ESD was performed with two types of electrode materials in optimized modes.
