Title: Science Education in Bulgaria

Abstract: The chapter discusses the current state of science education in Bulgaria, taking into account some factors like: geographical location, population, cultural characteristics, technological development, economics, educational system, and international collaboration. The performed exploration shows that the science education in Bulgaria, following the European educational policy, national priorities and the world best practices, is characterized with great progress and achievements, challenging issues and well defined future directions, documented in strategies, policies and standards.
