Title: Some Opportunities to Improve the Learning Process of Students Based on Computer Simulations

Abstract: The paper presents some opportunities for improving the quality of distance learning process of students, based on computer simulations. The considered examples illustrate simulations of electromagnetic processes and phenomena that cannot be studied in a real laboratory environment due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The aim is to facilitate the understanding of the material and significantly increases the possibility for self-learning process using FEM simulations of the studied phenomena.
