Title: Study of the Cutting Regimes in a Class of Machine Tools Aiming at Their Improvement

Abstract: The main factors influencing the cutting regimes in turning machines with computer numerical control (CNC) are summarized and analyzed in the paper. On this basis, some approaches for their optimization are presented and discussed. Practical study of the cutting regimes is illustrated with processing of workpieces in the considered class of machine tools. The research carried out and the results obtained can be applied when using such machine tools.
