Abstract: Internet of Things (IoT) has become the integral part of our everyday life. IoT devices are delegated for observing our wellbeing, houses, workplaces, industrial facilities, etc., so they need to comply with necessary security requirements. Moreover, such devices should be handled with extra care as they have extraordinary significance and handles vital information that might be identified with one’s life. Their effectiveness matters when these devices are considered as resource constraint devices. Numerous procedures are utilized to make these devices profoundly secure and productive. In the proposed system, we have applied hyper elliptic curve (HEEC) for key generation, considering the fact that such approach is more appropriate for lightweight devices due to its smaller key size. We implemented signcryption approach, where digital signature and encryption should be possible in single logical step.
