Title: A novel method for predicting attenuation caused by clouds for higher frequency bands
Keywords: Cloud Attenuation; Dielectric constants of water; Millimeter

Abstract: Higher frequencies especially from 10 GHz to 100 GHz rages opens new avenues to meet the high bandwidth demands of current exponentially growing telecom sectors. These higher frequencies also come with challenges like attenuation caused by atmospheric impairments eg. Rain, cloud, dust, gas, etc. this paper discusses the attenuation of radio awes caused due to clouds. A novel method is proposed to predict attenuation caused by clouds. In this method a novel techniques is introduced to calculate a parameters dielectric constant of water at different temperature and frequencies. This method is then compared with the ITU-Model.
