Abstract: The current paper proposes a Methodology for determining the socio-economic factors as a part of Cost-Benefit Analysis in the specific case of preparation project for the production of electricity from biomass. This developed methodology allows improving the quality of the decision-making process for investment project for the construction of new capacity of electricity production from biomass. The methodology presents the decision-making process based on the usage of statistic data and correction coefficients. The methodology proposes also the use of both national statistics and specially collected data in relation to the specific region in which the new energy capacity will operate.
