Title: Synthesis and Implementation of a Digital Control System for a Buck DC-DC Converter

Abstract: The paper demonstrates the design of software and hardware for the implementation of a digital control system for a synchronous Buck DC-DC converter. The control synthesis was performed using a model developed in Matlab/Simulink and then implemented in a microcontroller. In order to demonstrate the system and to verify the method, a prototype of a Buck DC-DC converter was realized, with which practical experiments were performed. The proposed approach is suitable for use for the purposes of training in Power Electronics, as well as for research and development.
