Title: Marketing Case: Effect of Advertising and Quality of the Goods on the Amount of Sales Keywords: Advertising, Marketing, Markov Chains, Modeling Abstract: This paper attempts to quantify the infl uence of various factors in marketing. Here is examined the relationship between the funds invested in advertising, the quality of the advertised product and sales over time. A simulation was made through Markov’s chains, in which sales depend on both advertising and consumer opinion. In the short term, an intensive advertising campaign increases sales, but over time, product quality is crucial. References Issue
