Абстракт: In this paper are described and compared the MQTT and LwM2M communication protocols for IoT devices. They are described their specifics, basics, software realization, type of usage and for what case are most suitable. To make the right choose of IoT communication protocol for usage is very complex. They are compared according specifics, application purpose and idea of IoT protocols. Depending on the application, the appropriate IoT communication protocol must be choosed.
