Заглавие: DETERMINATION OF THE TENSILE STRENGTH AT HIGH TEMPERATURES OF NON-STANDARD PISTON HYPEREUTECTIC ALUMINIUM-SILICON ALLOYS
Ключови думи: aluminium-silicon alloys, tensile strength, high-temperature

Абстракт: The non-standard hypereutectic aluminium-silicon alloys AlSi18Cu3CrMn and AlSi25Cu3Cr have been modified with phosphorus. The alloys have also been heat treated by hardening and artificial ageing – T6. The structure of the alloys before the heat treatment has been studied. High-temperature tests have been performed at 200°C, 250°C and 300°C to determine the tensile strength of the studied compositions. The influence of both used alloying elements and the mode of heat treatment on the behaviour of the alloys during the tests has been discussed. Comparative analysis of the obtained results has been made.
