The equipment is created with educational goal – it is an improvement of existing apparatus in the Lighting Technology Laboratory in the Technical University of Sofia. The idea behind it is to show and give understanding of students on the matter of photometric flicker, temporal lighting artefacts that it creates, the mechanisms that cause flicker and the ways to diminish this problem.
