Title: Risk Analysis and Assessment when Investing in Energy from Natural Gas and Photovoltaics Keywords: analysis, risk assessment, natural gas, photovoltaics, inves Abstract: The global energy industry is undergoing a shift in energy production methods that incorporate traditional fossil fuel-based technologies to renewable energy systems, thanks to lower capital costs, mainly for photovoltaic and natural gas energy. To achieve the climate goals and the development of renewable energy, it is necessary to increase the share of energy from photovoltaics and natural gas. It is necessary to perform an analysis and assessment of the risk of investment because this will allow to determine the effects of these risks on the main financial parameters at an early stage of approval of a project. The aim of the study is to analyze the uncertainty and risks of the investment environment in two investment models for investment in energy production from photovoltaics and natural gas, probabilities, trends, and specific risks.
