Заглавие: Study of AlSi18Cu3CrMn Alloy, Suitable for Use in Friction Pairs in Automotive Industry
Ключови думи: hypereutectic aluminium-silicon alloy, mechanical properties

Абстракт: Alloy AlSi18 has been interfused with Cu, Cr and Mn. It has been established that the combination of the three alloying elements has a modifying effect on the structure of the alloy. Both the primary silicon crystals and the silicon crystals in the eutectic composition become refined. The mechanical properties of the alloy improve. The primary and eutectic silicon crystals in the structure of the alloy, modified with P, have the smallest dimensions. The alloy, interfused and modified this way, has the highest values of Rm and HB. The obtained results are a prerequisite for the use of AlSi18Cu3CrMn alloy in friction pairs in the automotive industry.
