Abstract: This text is about transformations in educational paradigms, considered in a philosophical framework with a main focus on the needs of managerial training in universities today. Paradigmatic approach in education is the starting conceptual basis. Six educational paradigms are recalled. The fuzzy boundaries between the paradigms of science, art and humanities are pointed out, emphasizing the role of gamification in managerial education. The importance of cross-cultural knowledge and competence for the modern manager isis the underlined main thesis. The essence and implications of four paradigms in cross-cultural management are analyzed. Suggestions and examples for practical use of the paradigms of cross-cultural management in consulting and training are proposed.
