Abstract: Manufacturing facilities have expenses that differ, but in most cases electricity is the main one. This could be optimized, using different methods. One could be investing in energy efficiency - this could be on either the building or the manufacturing process. Another could be with investment in a photovoltaic electrical power plant that would improve the consumption of electricity.Most manufacturing facility, have quite a lot of roof space. Most of that space is unused and is ideal for this type of electricity generator. In the following article a technical and financial analysis would be performed of the efficiency of installing a photovoltaic electrical power plant in a manufacturing facility, using the electricity for self needs.
