Abstract: This paper aims to present an approach which automates estimations on switching topologies in electronic circuits trough generalized nets. It represents basic two-terminal electronic components in a common manner. Closed loops are determined alternatively according to opened and closed semiconductor switches. Examples on applying this technique are given for functioning of buck and boost converters.
