Title: Contactless Battery Charging System for a Small Electrical Vehicle
Keywords: battery, contactless charging, energy, electric vehicle

Abstract: Contactless energy transfer is meant to be a bridge into the future electronic technologies not only for communication but for power supplying as well. Nowadays wireless energy transfer becomes more and more popular as convenient way for charging electric vehicles. This article describes a method for contactless energy transmission for a small electric vehicle by using high - frequency inductive coupling between mechanically separated transformer coils. Managing the charging process is achieved by using an onboard charging meter. A laboratory model was created to demonstrate the abilities of the system.
