Abstract: The paper presents a study of a multiphase converter for charging stations for electric vehicles. The converter consists of parallel operating units based on high-frequency resonant inverters. Simulation models of multiphase con-verters have been developed. Simulation studies have been conducted to demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages of these systems. The impact of the asymmetry of the individual units on the pulsations of the charging current is investigated, as well as the possibilities for regulating the value of the charging current by changing the parameters of one or several units. The advantages of a five-phase converter over six-phase one at the same power output are shown.
