Title: COMSOL Modelling of Interdigital Capacitive Sensors
Keywords: -

Abstract: Flexible capacitive structures are increasingly used at home, in food industry, medicine and other areas of human activity. The study of the electrical properties and parameters of these innovative sensor elements are of great importance in the design, development, production and definition of their applications. These parameters are complex depending on the type of ink, its composition, the type of substrate and the number of printed layers. Results of experimental studies of the structures are presented in a number of literature sources, some of which are the work of the authors. In this article we have presented the development of COMSOL model in order to facilitate the determination of the parameters of capacitive sensor structures and their faster design, according to the requirements for different applications.
