Abstract: The following paper aims at development of a method for analysis and quantitative evaluation of energy losses in control systems, which should implement a model of the losses in the control valves. The presented method is applicable when evaluating and comparing the losses in designed during operation standard robust systems for control of static and astatic industrial plants. The results allow determining the inner energy losses of the examined systems and of the energy-saving control algorithms.
