Абстракт: Factors that influence the technical state under actual operating conditions of PV cells/modules are studied. The correlation between the size of a hot spot and reached a maximum temperature for some failures is analysed. It is shown that the infrared thermography is a powerful tool for diagnostic of PV modules degradation and defect propagation.
