Abstract: Automatic control systems are used in all areas of technology, their accuracy determines the accuracy of the work of robots, manipulators on conveyors, transport systems and high-precision measuring systems. Static error is always minimized through the use of integrating link in regulator. High dynamic accuracy can be ensured by the correct calculation of the proportional and derivative links. If the coefficients are not calculated correctly, the system may lose stability. The minimum dynamic error is ensured only with the most correctly designed regulator. The best design method in the case of a relatively complex mathematical model of the object is a method of numerical optimization. There are software tools for modeling such systems and optimizing regulator, such as VisSim, SimInTech, Simulink + MATLAB, Mathcad, and others.
