Title: Experimental and Numerical Studies of the Heating in a Low Voltage Switchboard

Abstract: The paper presents both a numerical and an experimental study of the heating in a closed low voltage switchboard (LVS). Experimental installation is developed for testing the heating in a LVS with a possibility for real time computer aided measuring of the temperature. A computer model has been developed in Comsol for conducting the numerical part of the study. The obtained experimental results and numerical data have been compared for different current loads.
