Title: New Surface Charred Wood Effects for Charcoal Coating, Graphic Image and Drawing Keywords: Burnt wood, Decorative effects, Elevated temperature, Flame Abstract: The Surface Charred Wood Effects ware based on phosphorus flame-retardants (PhFRs) chemical action at elevated temperature onto impregnated wood. This action was obtained from thermochemically produced orthophosphoric acid. Protective and decorative effects were studied. Using DSC and TGA the effectiveness of PhFRs was also investigated. The char forming temperatures decreases following a low temperature pathway after PhFRs surface impregnation of wood. Such charred wood coatings can protect the substrate from damaging and improve the wood flame retardancy References Issue
