Abstract: The paper presents the first stage in the development of techniques for estimation of the parameters of the environment which influence to the visibility of objects in the images taken by digital camera. This includes calculation of the relative spectral power distribution of the fields of color checker assumed as illuminants; colorimetrical calibration of radiometer by these spectral distributions and calculation of the correlated color temperature using particular measured signals
