Title: Electric Field Modeling in Case of Human Presence in the Vicinity of Power Line
Keywords: 3-D numerical modeling, Electric field distributions, Electr

Abstract: The paper presents results of study of electric field distribution in the vicinity of a power line in the presence of a human body. The field is investigated by numerical experiments based on 3D numerical modeling using a finite element method. A special feature of the study is the application of a new approach in the modeling based on additional, more precise secondary FEM analysis in a small domain close to the human, when the human body is modeled in more detail and is able to move its limbs and takes a different position. In the secondary analysis, for boundary conditions of a new, small, close to the human body region, are used the field values that have been obtained from the analysis of the whole domain with the simplified human figure
