Abstract: The paper aims to present an approach for mathematical modelling of electronic circuits with modern mathematical apparatus. Index matrices, corresponding to electronic components, nodes and loops, are used in voltage and amperage calculus. Arrangement of rows and columns in usual matrices is substituted by predetermined index sets. These index matrices with real number elements of different sizes allow formalization of complex topologies, and they can help researchers in automated design of electronic devices
