Abstract: A procedure for stability calculations using eigenbuckling, imperfections and nonlinear buckling is introduced. The procedure allows save calculations of global and local buckling for frame structures. An example is presented with different model for global buckling and local chord buckling as well as local diagonal buckling. It is shown, that a local buckling can be correct calculated only by nonlinear procedure and is much dangerous than global buckling.
