Abstract: The reliability of the power system is divided into - adequacy and security. System adequacy relates to the existence of sufficient generators within the system to satisfy the consumer load demand or system operational constraints. This report presents a way of probabilistic modeling of available capacity in the generation subsystem. Under considerations are conventional generating units, cogenerations and different types of renewable energy sources.
