Title: Use of System Diversity as Tool for Identification

Abstract: This paper concerns application of diversity, widely known from the reliability theory, in the new aspect as a tool for identification in recognition systems. If the information enters from two or more different sources in the recognition system, it can be treated by three different ways: logical schemes OR, AND and methods used in the artificial intelligence as fuzzy logic and neural networks. Based on the criterion system of quantitative indicators evaluating the identification, here it is suggested an analytical approach for creation of diversity recognition function with maximal identification.
