Title: Estimation of Hard Real-Time System Workability

Abstract: The growing usage of portable, real time devices, defines the need to have more and more functionalities that are executed in time. Additionally, hard real time services tolerate very limited latencies and for development of this kind of system is critically important to estimate the timing, based on systems' parameters. The current paper analyses a particular hard real-time system, hardware emulator, simulating its behaviour. This makes possible to investigate the system, using a number of different configurations. As a result, it finds dependencies of systems' parameters and defines an algorithm that could estimate the possible maximal latencies.
