Abstract: This paper aims to present an approach which automates estimation of important parameters of a boost converter through feed-forward neural networks. The last ones give an alternative way these parameters to be assessed. It is faster in its final phase compared to the standard approach of modeling with differential equations; this feature is essential if it is necessary to evaluate multiple parameters and solve optimization problems
