Title: Experimental Verification of a General Light Vehicle Model

Abstract: The paper presents a mathematical model and its experimental verification for a light vehicle. The main purpose of this study is the creation and verification of a simplified model for examining the main physical parameters during normal vehicle operation. The model presented is based on a previous original study, but here it is modified in order to minimize the error compared to the obtained experimental results. It models the aerodynamic drag, rolling resistance and grading resistance of the road as these are the primary forces that oppose the engine force. The obtained results are experimentally verified. The key areas that the model can be further improved are discussed at the end.
