Title: Analysis of flux density harmonic spectrum of the coaxial magnetic gear
Keywords: Finite element method models, Flux density harmonics, Harmon

Abstract: The harmonic spectrum of the magnetic flux density is essential for torque interaction and efficiency of magnetic gears. In this paper a design of coaxial magnetic gear has been modeled in order to estimate the magnetic flux density harmonic spectrum of in the air-gaps, magnets, rotors and in the modulating steel segments. A time dependent Finite Element Method model of the coaxial magnetic gear has been implemented. The model simulations are carried out by Ansys-Maxwell package. The flux density harmonic spectrum depending on rotor's relative positions and rotational angle has been calculated and analysed. The harmonic spectrum is implemented by Matlab software
