Abstract: This paper presents a design of Perturb and Observe (P&O) MPPT method with adaptive step of perturbation controlled by a fuzzy logic controller for a PV system. The method is integrated into a whole system which is simulated in SIMULINK under several scenarios of irradiance. The results shown that though the model managed to get the output close to the MPP, the oscillations present are relatively large and the model could be better tuned.
