Abstract: The paper presents the study of the influence of the different factors (motor speed, turn-on and turn-off SRM switching angles, duty cycle and switching frequency on conduction and switching losses in the asymmetric power converter fed three-phase 12/8 SRM. The analytical methods in use are compared to the simulation results in a MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
